The Hardin County Engineer's Office is the agency responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of Hardin County Ohio's transportation system.

This includes plowing snow, fixing potholes, repairing base failures, grading, draining, paving, mowing, controlling noxious weeds and repairing or replacing bridges as needed.
